- November 1, 2023: Prof. Qasaimeh served as the general chair of the extremely successful MARSS2023 Conference at NYUAD. MARSS is an annual flagship International Conference on Manipulation, Automation and Robotics at Small Scales. MARSS2023 featured 180 talks given by top-notch speakers from around the world, including 14 Plenary Talks given by world-renewed speakers. MARSS20203 welcomed 247 participants from around the world and distributed as: 29% from Europe, 27% from the UAE, 20% from Asia, 9% from America, and 15% from the rest of the world.

Vasko’s 4-pages paper is a result of his term project in the course “Fundamentals and Applications of MEMS” that Prof. Qasaimeh taught during the semester Fall 2016. - April 21, 2017: Congratulations to NYUAD undergrad “Xiao Lu” for getting accepted to give an Oral Talk at the IEEE EMBS 14th International Conference on Wearable and Implantable Body Sensor Networks (BSN2017), Netherlands. Xiao’s 4-pages paper is a result of his term project in the course “Fundamentals and Applications of MEMS” that Prof. Qasaimeh taught during the semester Fall 2016. The title of paper is “Effects of Air Tunnel Geometry on Thermal Resistance and Thermocouple Efficiency in a Thermal Electric Generator”.
