  • *June 20, 2025*: Our recent paper “Single-Layer Radially Compartmentalized Paper Chip (RCP-Chip) for Rapid Isothermal Multiplex Detection of SARS-CoV-2 Gene Targets” published in Advanced Sensor Research has received wide media coverage across 70+ scientific outlets and newspapers, including The Microbiologist, Medical Design & Development, The Times of India, MedicalXpress, GeneOnline, Abu Dhabi Media Office, UAE71, and Al Khaleej, as well as features on NYUAD’s English and Arabic channels.

  • *April 21, 2025*: Prof. Qasaimeh delivered an invited talk titled “Microfluidics and Innovative Bioengineering for Advanced Biomedical and Surgical Applications” as part of the Biomedical Science and Engineering Seminar Series organized by the Center of Engineering in Medicine and Surgery (CEMS) at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. The talk was held online on April 18, 2025.
  • *April 14, 2025*: Our group presented six talks at the 10th UAE Graduate Students Research Conference (GSRC25), held on April 12, 2025, at the American University of Sharjah.
