Thanks for stopping by. I finished my Ph.D. in Computer Science at New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering in January 2017. My advisers were Keith W. Ross and Bruce Kogut.  I’m currently a Research Director for Data Science at Crime Lab New York, a University of Chicago research institute that partners with civic and community leaders in New York City to design, test, and scale promising programs and policies to reduce crime and violence. You can see my CV here.

My area of focus is computational social science. Specifically, I build and study predictive models of human behavior in the domains of academic publishing, criminal justice, and online commerce. Additionally, I study the, sometimes unintended, consequences of these predictive algorithms.
