“Concept may be subject to change between now and the final due date of the Diptych Concept”
- The overall concept of the Diptych aims to tell a visual story through two interconnecting images. Both photos will feature complementary elements to help viewers easily understand the relationship between the images.
- The goal is for the photos to complete each other either through contrasting themes, contrasts within similar subjects, or depicting a “before and after” scenario.
- One image may focus on nature while the other shows an urban environment, with trees or leaves serving as the visual link.
- Nature and cityscapes are the types of subjects I plan to photograph. Photoshop will then be used to manipulate tones and colors in one photo to fit the overall theme. For the other image, elements from different photos may be spliced together to achieve the desired composition while still conveying the intended message through visual continuation and storytelling between the two images.
- Blending, adding gradients, and other techniques will help me transform the raw photos into the completed diptych project.
