Patterns of firearm acquisition in the U.S. in different presidential terms
Do people in different states in the U.S. purchase firearms at the same time?
This was the question that the new paper by Prof. Maurizio Porfiri, together with Xu Wang and Prof. Rifat Sipahi from Northeastern University, tried to address. They discovered various degrees of synchronization in firearm acquisition among states, which depends on the presidential term considered.
