COVID-19’s Surprise Effect on 2020 U.S. Election

Curious to verify the prevalent theory that Trump’s loss was a consequence of the way he handled the COVID-19 pandemic, the scientists analyzed data on the link between COVID-19 incidences and the voting behavior in the 2020 U.S. presidential elections. Surprisingly, they revealed that President Trump lost more ground to Joe Biden in counties that experienced fewer COVID-19 cases.
