B-lines Detection and Evaluation in Thorax Ultrasound Video

Project Summary:

Currently, the detection and evaluation of pulmonary congestion largely rely on manual detection of B-lines by ultrasound specialists. In this project, we develop computation algorithms that can automatically detect and quantify B-lines.

The left figure shows an original ultrasound scan, and the right shows the B-line detection result. where the detected B-line region is colored green, the detected A-line is colored blue, and the detected plural space is delineated by red lines.
