We’re Not There Yet marks the recent 50th anniversary of the passing of Title IX and the continued conversation around the implementation of its policies relating to sexual violence on college and university campuses. VPL revisits the second confirmation hearing of Judge Clarence Thomas’s Supreme Court nomination in the wake of accusations of sexual harassment by Professor Anita Hill in October of 1991.

Originally workshopped in the spring of 2023, We’re Not There Yet was performed as part of NYU’s Constitution Day 2023.
