We created The Kavanaugh Files as a series of investigations that use gender flipped verbatim performance to contribute to the ongoing dialogue about how gender affects our day-to-day interactions and our larger political, cultural, and social worlds.

The Kavanaugh Files was also presented in a live performance by Geva Theatre Center as part of their Hornet’s Nest series on May 20, 2019. Following the performance, audience members participated in a facilitated dialogue with VPL director Joe Salvatore, Geva’s Literary Director / Resident Dramaturg Jenni Werner, VPL associate director Keith R. Huff, and performers Heleya de Barros, Daryl Embry, Analisa Gutierrez, Suzy Jane Hunt, Scott Michael Morales, and Robert Thaxton-Stevenson.
