Made during Covid, Hiding from my own insecurities during an isolated time. I placed the holographic film on top of the camera lens and took about 80 photos to later find a sequence. I wanted to show movement and the state of confusion with two visual mediums.

Made during Covid, I envisioned my countenance as distorted and bare since I was facing identity issues while being homesick during quarantine. Covid-19 obstructed me from visiting my family in Peru and maintaining the physical connection I enjoyed when embracing my Peruvian culture. I remember and love the Inca ruins and small houses I used to see every day.
