The research based on, how the businesses of tattoo parlors represent the cultural values and tradition of Chicana. Basically Chicana community migrated from Mexico; hold their Chicano values in their tattoo art spread all over the East Los Angeles. Tattoo artist pick and suggest tattoo for the community according to their class, gender, race and sexuality. They thought women should get tattooed in private areas to avoid stigmatization whereas men get tattoos visible in the public eye. And they do not respect the woman with visible tattoo; they even say whore or lesbian. It gives the idea how men are dominating in their community. Some of them think that getting tattooed means lower class but some of them feel proud or badge of honor of that community. I feel that how people are connected to their roots, culture and tradition through these tattoos though the some of their thoughts need to be changed for the new generations.
