The Clemente is home to a variety of other cultural art education organizations. There are about twelve organizations in residence at The Clemente that also intend to preserve, present, and cultivate a specific culture. These organizations are: Teatro SEA, Mark Degarmo Dance, Latin American Theater Experiment Associates (LATEA), Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA), The Fantastic Experimental Latino Theater (FELT), ABC No Rio, Artists Alliance INC, LAZO, Arts for Art, Feraba, Dorrance Dance, and Afro Brazil Arts. Installations and performances of each organization can be found in Galleries at the Clemente like Abrazo Interno or LES Gallery or in theatres like the Flamboyan and Los Kabayitos Theater. Including these organizations, The Clemente partners with Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance, Bronx Music Heritage Center, Bronx Documentary Center, John Nicholas Brown Center for Public Humanities and Cultural Heritage at Brown University, Caribbean Cultural Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI), CityLore, Dixon Place, el museo, FAB NYC, Flushing Council on Culture and the Arts, Issue Project Room, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Museum of the City, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Pregone sTheater Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, Urban Studies at Queens College, Repertorio, The Latinx Project, puerto Rican Syllabus, Abrons Arts Center at Henry Street Settlement, The Center for the Humanities, and the glorious Urban Democracy Lab at NYU Gallatin. The Clemente has a well connected network of associations that strive to reflect on the cultural diversity of the city and continue to showcase that through its artistry and education. The bounds on what kinds of organizational and individual action are possible may be ruptured by the inclusivity displayed by each organization. Although the Clemente was founded on the notion to give space for Puerto Rican artists in New York , in a similar way that Clemente Soto Velez did, it also extends that space to other folks of Latinx descent and supports the diversity of residents. This is what allows Dorrance Dance, a dance company to still cultivate, present, and present the afrocentric style of tap dance at The Clemente.
