NYU Career Fair +

NYU Career Fair + allows students to craft their career fair strategy by researching companies, navigating floorplans, and getting alerts for workshops and events, before and during the career fair. It eliminates the need to print, store, and discard thousands of programs.

NYU Stern Get IT

Get IT is a new initiative in the NYU Stern IT department aimed at increasing communication and engagement with the larger Stern community. We are leveraging google+ communities as a means to do this. We have created a community called NYU Stern Get IT where users can go to find tips and tricks, information on what we are working on and to provide feedback and ask questions.

Digital Signage at NYU Law

I will demonstrate the setup of Concerto as the digital signage solution for the Law School. A large monitor will be setup as an example of one of our digital signs. I will describe our setup, Concerto’s capabilities, and can give a walk-through of how we have our instance configured.

Defining IT and AT services to Redefine technology at Steinhardt

Technology services at Steinhardt have traditionally been focused on IT services such as storage and desktop support. Over the past year, we have realigned resources to more effectively and efficiently support Academic Technology. We operate as a synergistic cross-functional team where every individual compliments each-other. Our efforts in research computing, classroom technology, and many other areas could not be possible without a dynamic culture. We know silos are an issue at NYU, and will speak to the benefits of creating structures without silos.

Responsive Course Faculty Evaluations

A goal of Stern’s Undergraduate College is to increase the number of Course Faculty Evaluations (CFEs) submitted by students. Creating a responsive design for the form will enable students to complete the form form whatever device they prefer and may increase the number of submissions.
