Sarah’s suggestion to formulate/conceive of “occasions” at which to serve/share these cocktails resonated strongly with me – both in terms of the performative aspect (whether or not there is an actual performance – also an intriguing idea) as well as making the audience more defined/present.
Additional helpful feedback:
A. To build on the project by further investigating and then illuminating the role of the pharmaceutical companies/stakeholders involved
This includes their:
- Role in the expeditions/discovery/harvesting
- R&D practices and findings
- Interactions with sites (local communities, cultures and environments)
- Knowledge ownership both in regard to the appropriation of Tradition Knowledges and the commercial medications developed
- Economics – accessibility/affordability and compensation/financial remuneration to local communities
B. Organizing structure of TOC into topic groups/categories such as by “occasion” or type
