I continue to be fascinated by both the subject as well as all the potential creative manifestations that might arise.
The truncated clay creature version has been play-tested with several times adults, teenagers and now a fourth time with a 6-year-old who interpreted the elements as examples and decided to make his own “weird creatures”.
I’ve worked on the website a bit more and am on my way to understanding what it needs. I am surprisingly able to program much of what I wish to do. Now two or more players can interact on the site.
(Only working on Chrome – and the “save your creature” section is not working yet)
Development for this will include adding links to information, increasing the number of images on the slide carousel, creating a capture feature so that the visitors may opt to save their creatures in a gallery. These can then serve as examples for future visitors.
The card game still needs the most play-testing as the guidelines/goals still need refining. Additionally, although I have a notion of what I’d like the stakeholders to be encouraged to do, I am not yet certain how to write descriptions and suggestions. I suppose examples would be the best way to go.
