This is so good. What did you discover? It’s what we call a “janky” (rapid, messy prototype that gets the subject out of your head. Not sure I know what the interaction is, but the layering, and transparency and suggested movement (coupled with the sound of rustling vellum) is a wonderful study.
I became immersed in a speculative space populated by creatures – however, it was the imagined movement of the creatures that took root when I started to draw. The layering is a way of indicating the spacial (dimensional) quality. The sound was a happenstance – one that immediately opened up another line of inquiry into that realm. What DOES that space sound like? Because of our capacity (or lack thereof) to listen/hear at great depths without the aid of technology, we can’t really understand that.
