How did you decide to become a writer/filmmaker/animator/etc.?
I decided to become a filmmaker about two years ago in my sophomore year of high school when I started watching a lot of YouTube. There were so many amazing filmmakers creating interesting content there that it inspired me to start making things of my own, and I loved it so much I decided to pursue it.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by my family, my friends, the work of my peers, and all the filmmakers and artists that I look up to and admire.
Why did you submit to Fusion?
I love Fusion and everything it stands for, and we heard about the Rising Star category in my animation class. I was very happy with the way my film came out, and it got such a positive reaction from my peers that I decided to submit it.
The screening of Fusion Film Festival finalists and the awards ceremony will take place at 6:30pm at Cantor Film Center on Saturday, March 5th.
