An Idaho English teacher, Nathan Wilson, has offered a theory on how the Shroud of Turin — Jesus’ supposed burial cloth — was faked, by using of paint, glass and linen to create a false “photo negative” image. Wilson, an evangelical Christian who professes his belief in the resurrection “‘without a doubt,'” wrote his theory on the forgery of the Shroud for Christianity Today’s Books and Culture section, and hopes to write a novel on the topic.
