Report on Sex Abuse in the Roman Catholic Church

On May 18th, the John Jay College of Criminal Justice of City University of New York issued The Causes and Context of Sexual Abuse of Minors by Catholic Priests in the United States, 1950-2010, a report initiated by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ to address sex abuse in the Roman Catholic Church.

The Revealer‘s asked journalists, activists, academics and theologians to weigh in on the nature of the report, its findings, and what it means for the future of the Catholic Church.  We’ll continue to post commentary here as it comes in.
