Stephanie Butnick: Pop culture phenomenon Lady Gaga, clad in suspenders and glasses, tells Larry King she’s “very religious” and was raised Catholic. Meanwhile, Megan Phelps-Roper of the Westboro Baptist Church, apparently not a fan of the outspoken singer, parodies Gaga’s hit “Telephone” with a version titled “Ever Burn.” And over at Religion Dispatches, Jeremy Biles uncovers the not-so-deep meanings behind Lady Gaga’s oft-blogged about use of occult symbols. Spoiler alert: Biles says “Lady Gaga is no puppet for the Illuminati.” So what does Gaga think of all this? We’re guessing she’s k-kinda busy.
