Conference Background
The Conferences on Human Capital Innovation in Technology & Analytics have been organized annually since 2012 within the Department of Technology Management and Innovation at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering – Polytechnic Institute. Each year these Conferences focus on a different critical issue, bringing together thought leaders and experts who are at the cutting-edge of Human Capital Analytics and related technologies.
This year’s critical issue is The Great Resignation: How Analytics Can Help. During the Covid-19 pandemic, record numbers of workers resigned from their jobs, and employers were hard-pressed to find talent to fill numerous open positions. This is a continuing problem affecting American industry. At this year’s conference, analytics will be utilized to understand not only why people are leaving their jobs in record numbers, but also to identify effective interventions that organizations are using to improve the retention and attraction of talent.
Audience participants include executives, managers and professionals, who range from people analytics specialists to HR generalists, as well as faculty and students from a variety of disciplines. This is a valuable opportunity to learn from leading experts to understand how analytics can be applied in the workplace to more effectively deploy, utilize, develop and engage talent in addressing the challenge of The Great Resignation.
