Hi! My name is Shenyi Huang (she/her), and I am currently a junior at NYU Tandon majoring in Computer Science with a minor of math. Hope I can apply what I learn to help more people and improve accessibility.

Week 13
I completed “Responsive Design and Zoom” training from Deque University. The biggest accomplishment this semester for me is that I have a deeper understanding in web accessibility now than I was at the beginning of this semester. By completing 11 trainings on Deque university’s platform, I learned design considerations for designing user-friendly accessible features.
Week 12
I completed “Web Accessibility Testing: Screen Readers” training from Deque University. I learned about who is using screen readers and what screen readers are available for different operating systems. I also set goals to complete one more course before the end of the semester and complete the training during winter break.
November
Week 11
This week I wasn’t able to join the meeting, and I completed the training “Form Labels, Instructions, and Validation (with WCAG 2.2 updates)” from Deque University.
Week 10
I completed one training from Deque University.
Week 9
I completed another 2 trainings from Deque University.
Week 8
I completed 2 trainings from Deque University.
October
Week 7
I was busy with my midterms this week, so I only completed 2 trainings from Deque University this week.
Week 6
I have enrolled in Deque University’s training program, and I have completed 3 trainings this week.
Week 4-5
These two weeks, I was looking at the resources sent by NYU digital accessibility for our museum projects. I just received login information for Deque University so I will look into the training for the next few days.
September 2023
Week 1-3
This month, I just joined EAT. I got to know the cohort and learned about different projects available for us to work on. I also learned about how to give a visual description of myself.
