This week’s post is based off a public mailbox.
This week’s post was relatively simple compared to last week but that didn’t stop challenges from popping up. First off came some issues with perspective. I was a bit off in the beginning so the starter cube didn’t quite line up with the base. This was only a minor inconvenience compared to the other one. As I was finishing up and setting up the render settings, I unknowingly pressed a button that caused the program to freeze. This was terrifying. When I make these models, I never save until the end, not for any real reason, but it is just convenient not to since it is all being done in one sitting. If this crashed the program, I just lost all my progress for the day and would have to start over. I fruitlessly looked up solutions online, until miraculously, after five minutes of stress, the program started working again. I saved as fast as I could and was extra careful not to mess with any more settings. I’m definitely saving more often in the future.
