What better way to start than with one of the most common objects in the city? This week’s post is based off a Shake Shack cup.
The base object was (you’ll never guess) a cylinder. The biggest challenge this week was texture painting as I was new to the whole process. I originally experimented with squiggly lines to indicate the details on the side of the cup, however after further research, I decided to go with a much more stylistically accurate sleeve.
It took roughly two hours to model, texture, light, and composite the image so a long term goal may be to quicken the workflow.
