Attended CUNY’s 2024 Disability Culture Summit webinar. The panelists discussed a variety of topics and talked about their backgrounds. Some of the ones I found interesting were:

• Disabilities in sports, such as regarding the paralympics. As well as about not reducing people (such as paralympians or other athletes) to mostly their disabilities.
• Community engagement and expression. How allies can contribute to better visibility and accessibility locally.
• Some of the specific questions, such as people asking about the effect of COVID and long COVID on disability awareness.

Printed some buttons with the Ability Lab’s printers. Read through Maker’s Making Change’s website and activities.

Met up with Anna on Monday to give her the fidget bat as well as an additional fidget cube. Spent some time looking through the Maker’s Making Change website and reading more about their events and what they do.

Focused on midterms this week.
