Week 1

Goals:

My goals for this semester are to gain in user experience design skills, and computational skills. I want to use my research and analytical skills to potentially make a difference to people with disabilities. I believe these developing these skills will help me be a better engineer. Personally, I feel that during my time here in Tandon, I have not had much of a chance to work on engineering projects, and I want to change that.

Potential interests:
Multisensory Room:

I find this project interesting because it involves user design experience, research and analysis skills to help build intriguing immersive rooms/products. It would be a new and exciting experience for me to work on immersive rooms that stimulate the senses of people with disabilities. I would like to work on the process of researching the best methods to creating such products/rooms. Based on the technologies listed, the bubble tube caught my attention the most.

Facilities Overview:

I am interested in this project because I enjoy working with websites (whether it involves design or uploading blogs/research) based on previous experiences. To add on, I think it would be a great way for me to get a better understanding of the Ability Project. Specifically, I get to understand the procedures and the equipment used.
