I work on the Integrated Design and Media department floor and have observed some accessibility problems, particularly with the entrance visitors use to access the department. Our floor has a lot of people come in and out of our floor but I noticed that individuals who use power chairs and wheelchairs had a difficult time with the automatic door and it would often close on them as they tried to make it through the narrow space. I focused on brainstorming ideas on how to come up with a solution.

I was able to talk to Amy and some of the other VIP members and got some advice on how to find individuals who want or need assistive tech. Two places Amy said to check out were:
I will try to do some research into ways Makers Making Change can find clients.
