My partner was Idriss, and his favorite piece of technology is cars. In his words, his salient social identity is African American, which is something that people come first on their mind about them. I asked what exact model he loves, he first said, the new Tesla Roadster, and then, talked about his favorite one in his high school era, the Dodge Hellcat.
I’ve in love with cars for more than a decades and one thing I am always interested in was the lowrider of the west coast, which is, sometimes connected to African American’s life and their songs. In my perspectives, cars can reflect personality of their enthusiasts. African Americans have been treated unfairly for hundreds of years on this land, and lowrider, would somehow represent their distinctive vision of artistic beauty and a crave of freedom.
Wish there’s no race or countries. Peace.
