Hello This is Harry Chen from your 3904-B class.
I’m a sophomore, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
I’m interested in Technology and Diversity mainly because I want to be a versatile person who not only study engineering but also learn about the life around me.
My favorite part from last year was the Futurework Makerspace tour. I am amazed by the equipment they offer: it’s even greater than our makerspace at school. Both engineers and artist may find their niche in this place and I’d definately like to visit it someday.
Dominance by Design: Technological Imperatives and America’s Civilizing Mission is my favorite book from the book list.
I would suggest the book : Radical Technologies: The Design of Everyday Life, to add to the book list.
That’s all for my first post. See you later!
