GREEN WELCOME WEEK 2019!

The Office of Sustainability is proud to be participating in Welcome Week 2019! If youʻre a new student or transfer student, Welcome to NYU! If youʻre interested in getting involved with sustainability on campus, youʻll have lots of opportunities to chat with us in the coming weeks. You can stop by our table on Welcome Day (weʻll have goodies), or join us on a green campus tour and meet some like-minded friends. On the 29th weʻll be partnering with the Department of Health to help you refill & chill (*hint hint* more goodies), and weʻll be closing it out with our Eco-Fair on September 3rd open to all NYU students. Click the Welcome Week tab on your NYU Mobile app for more details. If you have specific questions about sustainability at NYU visit our website.

8/25 Welcome Day Resource Fair – Each fall, NYU hosts NYU Welcome Day for new undergraduate students and their family members. Stop by for refreshments, information, and to meet representatives from various NYU departments. It’s a great place to meet other parents and students, take a break, get a bite, pick up some free stuff, and ask questions.

In this walking tour, you’ll see some of these spaces and learn about how NYU is building a more environmentally sustainable campus. You’ll also learn about how you can get involved in the NYU sustainability community through leadership opportunities, grant funding, and club participation. Sustainable refreshments will be provided by NYU Eats and Think Coffee!

8/29 Refill & Chill, Department of Health Collab– Get a free water bottle, hydrate, and cool off with the Student Health Center and the Office of Sustainability! We have free fruit-infused water– Refill with us!
