REUSE, RETHINK, RESILIENCE week 1 post

My current definition of resilience is made towards different parts of life. I’m looking for emotional resilience which I define as to not be affected negatively by the internet and social media which are driven in a huge part by anger and envy and suspicion. I will achieve this by selectively viewing social media and reducing the amount of negative content using tools like the algorithm already implemented in them, and if I were to be affected, I wish to learn about ways I could think about the matter which affected me critically and thus gain new understanding of said matter. I’m also looking for environmental resilience which I define as to be as energy efficient and not waste as much material as possible (within reason of course) to combat the waste problem made by consumerism. I plan to achieve this by looking into reusing/upcycling materials at home, minimal-waste lifestyle and urban farming.

One of my current weekly activities is going to museums. I went to the Museum of Chinese in America, which is a small but really well-put-together museum that documents the history of Chinese people and culture in the US. It was really informative and well-thought-out, and also pretty heavy telling certain periods of history. Here are some photo documentations.
