I am a PhD Candidate and Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in improving health outcomes and quality of life for those with swallowing disorders (dysphagia).

My research is anchored in years of front-line experience at the bedside. As a clinician-scientist, my scholarly work is directly fueled by a commitment to improving clinical processes and building better systems of care.

My goal is simple: advocacy through science. I am dedicated to advancing our collective knowledge and creating higher-quality standards of care that restore folks to living (to eat!).
