This story is about how Messi encourages people to chase their dreams. There was a little boy who dreamed to be a soccer player. He worked hard to realize his dream. Finally he made it and became famous around the world. He is Lionel Messi. The story tells us that we need to try hard to make our dream a reality.

Interpretive Task: Researching soccer player to collect information — teacher will type up modified information in the target language from multiple websites so that students have information to research in the target language around their proficiency level.
Interpersonal Task: Communicating with your partner to share ideas/information — students will share the answers to their designated questions with their partner. As partner A listens to partner B’s response, they will fill in facts given to them from partner A, and vice versa.
Presentational Task: Presenting findings on your soccer player (written — for the book; orally — for the class)
