Graduate and undergraduate research assistants engage in various activities related to developmental research, such as data collection in home and preschool classrooms, direct child assessments, language data transcription and verification, coding of narrative data, as well as assisting in other research-related tasks, such as data entry and data management. Research Assistants have the opportunity to interact directly with preschoolers, volunteering for a minimum of 3 hours a day, once a week, at preschool sites in New York City.
