About Me

Hello! I am a fourth year doctoral student in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders at New York University under the mentorship of Dr. Christina Reuterskiƶld. As a scientist and clinician, I am motivated to develop therapies that provide an evidence-base for improving the functional and spontaneous communication of minimally verbal children with ASD. My research interests include word learning, augmentative communication, and joint attention in minimally verbal children with autism.  I received my M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Fontbonne University in 2012 and my B.A. in Psychology and Biology from Washington University in St. Louis in 2005.  View my CV or contact me at gtc254@nyu.edu
