Congratulations on your acceptance to a Steinhardt study abroad program! Your admission is a testament to your academic strength and your commitment to engage in your field of study in a global context. Please complete the following action items at your earliest convenience:
Check Passport Validity
A valid passport is required to travel outside the United States. Your passport must be valid at least six months beyond your program end date. Should you need to renew or apply for a new passport, please begin the application process immediately and notify the Office of Global Affairs at email@example.com.

- For U.S passport photography services, visit the StudentLink Center or a local pharmacy.
- The Office of Global Services (OGS) Outbound Immigration Services is hosting a passport drive for US citizens at the NYU StudentLink Center (383 Lafayette Street) on Monday, April 29, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. To sign up for the passport drive please visit the NYU US Passport Drive webpage and sign up for an appointment time. You must bring a complete set of application documents with you on the day of the drive. General passport information can be found on the US Department of State website. *You will be able to have a passport photo taken at the NYU StudentLink Center. The cost is $10 for 2 photos.
Visit the NYU Student Health Center or personal doctor (recommended)
It is recommended that you obtain a routine physical through the Student Health Center or your personal doctor prior to travel, to identify and address any health issues that may require attention prior to travel.
Register with Moses Center for Students with Disabilities (if applicable)
Students with disabilities should register with the Henry and Lucy Moses Center for Students with Disabilities in order to obtain appropriate accommodations and services while abroad. Call 212.998.4980 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
