Our Research Center on Stability, Instability, and Turbulence at New York University Abu Dhabi is organizing a one-day workshop on Mathematical Modeling, Fluid Dynamics, and Healthcare Applications, on Friday, May 17th.
This interdisciplinary workshop aims to bridge the gap between academia and healthcare by fostering collaborations between scientists and professional healthcare providers. The event will bring together experts from Mathematics, Physics, and Bioengineering with healthcare professionals to discuss how mathematical and computational methods can address pressing challenges in healthcare.
The agenda includes discussions on the expertise offered by scientists in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, and Bioengineering, focusing on how their research can be applied to solve healthcare problems. The workshop will also explore the specific needs of professional healthcare providers, identifying areas where academic research can contribute to practical healthcare solutions.
Key topics include:
• Advanced mathematical modeling techniques and their applications in healthcare.
• Fluid dynamics and its implications for medical diagnostics and treatment.
• Bioengineering innovations and their potential impact on patient care.
The workshop will provide a platform for participants to share their vision and goals, facilitating discussions on potential research collaborations that can bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical healthcare applications. This event is an excellent opportunity for professionals and researchers to engage in meaningful exchanges and explore innovative solutions for improving healthcare.
