Curator: Gil Quito co-organized the annual summer film festival at the Philippine Consulate in New York from 2010 to 2022. He was a Consultant for the Museum of Modern Art’s two major retrospectives of Philippine Cinema: A New Golden Age: Philippine Contemporary Cinema (2017), and Mike de Leon: Self-Portrait of a Filmmaker (2022), a survey of the cinematographer/director’s work and productions by LVN, the major producer in the heyday of traditional Philippine film studios in the 1950s and 60s. Associate or executive producer credits: Laurice Guillen’s American Adobo, Lav Diaz’s From What Is Before and Children of the Storm, and Sheron Dayoc’s Mientras Su Durmida. Co-Organizer: Vicky Belarmino co-curated the 1998 and 2000 major Philippine film retrospectives at the Film Society of Lincoln Center and was Consultant for the 2017 MoMA retrospective: A New Golden Age, Philippine Contemporary Cinema. She is Festival Coordinator of the Cinemalaya Film Festival and Culture & Arts Officer at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
