As October comes to a close, so does National Arts and Humanities Month – a nationwide celebration that reminds us of the profound impact these disciplines have on our lives and communities. It’s a time when we honor the individuals, organizations, and institutions that make significant contributions to the cultural fabric of our nation. Through music, literature, visual arts, theater, and countless other expressions of human creativity, we explore our history, contemplate our future, and connect with one another on a deep and meaningful level.
At the NYU Center for Publishing and Applied Liberal Arts (PALA), we wholeheartedly embrace the ideals of National Arts and Humanities Month. Our commitment to promoting creativity, fostering intellectual growth, and encouraging lifelong learning aligns perfectly with the goals of this month-long celebration and we believe in the transformative power of the arts and humanities to inspire, educate, and engage people from all walks of life.
