Join us on Tuesday, Feb 16 for a conversation on Natalia Ginzburg’s 1960 Italian novel, Family Lexicon.
We will be discussing the 2018 translation by the award-winning writer and CALA faculty, Jenny McPhee, who will also be present at the event.
The New York Times described Ginzburg’s autobiographical piece as a ‘glowing light of modern Italian literature . . . As direct and clean as if it were carved in stone, it yet speaks thoughts of the heart.’
Coming to you live from Trinity College Dublin, Prof. Cormac Ó Cuilleanáin, the former Head of Italian at the College, will be introducing the event.
