In recent years television, unlike nearly every other creative industry, hasn’t just grown—it has exploded. Competition among Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, YouTube, and Google as well as traditional television networks has ushered us into the new golden age of television. Join Ken Levine (Frasier, Cheers, The Simpsons, M*A*S*H), Lara Shapiro (The Americans), and Michael Zam (Ryan Murphy’s forthcoming series Feud) for a discussion of the business of writing for television, hosted by the NYU SPS Center for Applied Liberal Arts (CALA).
Date & Time: Wednesday, July 20th 6:30-8:00pm
Location: 7 East 12th Street, room 321
This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP here.
