NYU’s Center for Global Affairs (CGA) co-sponsored the 11th Annual International Humanitarian Law Dialogs, which took place on the 27th – 29th of August. The theme of this year was “Changing Times: New Opportunities of International Justice and Accountability.”

CGA Professor Jennifer Trahan brought in an impressive roster of international justice practitioners, academics, and diplomatic representatives to discuss how the future of the field might look in 20 years.
Every year Montreal Exchange hosts a derivative conference in late November. This year was the 17th annual meeting. I was invited to join the macro-economic panel to discuss.
On 20 October 2016, [Parliamentarians for Global Action] PGA in consultation with the World Coalition against the Death Penalty (WCADP), launched a Parliamentary Factsheet on the Death Penalty and Terrorism-Related Offences.
