Alessandro Ventura is a distinguished global leader with over 20 years of experience in Business and Technology. He currently serves as the Global VP of Technology Transformation at Unilever. Alessandro’s career has been marked by a relentless pursuit of delivering transformative programs, devising Digital Transformation and IT Strategies, and driving Analytics initiatives.
With a significant portion of his professional journey spent in the Consumer Goods industry, Alessandro possesses in-depth knowledge of industry processes and dynamics. He is renowned for his mission to “deliver business impact by bringing out humanity and happiness.” His dedication extends to talent development and people skills.
At Unilever, he leads the Technology Transformation agenda, facilitating multi-million-euro investments to enhance speed, agility, and technology effectiveness. Alessandro’s past roles include serving as the CIO and VP of Analytics and Business Services for North America and the Chief Information Officer for North America.
His career has been marked by roles in IT Innovation, Business Engagement, and Program Management. Alessandro is a valued member of the corporate world and continues to make an impact with his visionary leadership and extensive experience.

Finance for Marketing Decisions
This is part of the Finance for Marketing Decisions class taught by Benaroya. In this class, students learn about Finance by choosing a company and acting as if they were the company’s financial executives. Each week, they decide whether to increase prices, reduce headcount, go public, and expand into new markets. Senior executives join as Guest Speakers to share how they make business and career decisions.
