Hi – David LaCombe here. I’m researching United Health.
My early research has been focused on company documents from their For Investors webpages.
Next, I plan to review reports from industry analysts and consumer rankings to identify market forces that may create headwinds for marketing investments.
Hello,
I find the core websites including their own website, investor relations and news would be a good way to start. In addition, understanding market share weight and growth in past years is helpful. Using tools like Euromonitor to review trends as it relates to them and the industry. I would also want to understand the strategic priorities and plans that have driving growth through marketing investments. While industry articles may not provide exact marketing investment numbers, interviews from their Marketing Head or Chief Growth Officer on currently strategies can provide insight. Forbes has a few articles speaking to this. I think it’s also helpful to review trends related to their Share of Voice and Web Volume/News to understand what strategic investments have been made.. I’ve used tools like Muckrack and Mergentintellect in the past.I am in the process of researching this along with other avenues.
Delta, being a S&P 500 company, offers easy access to its financial information, which is crucial for justifying marketing investments and evaluating payback. This data is readily available on their website, categorized by quarter and year, allowing for a thorough analysis of financial performance over time. Additionally, resources like the Wall Street Journal provide streamlined and insightful financial data, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding.

United Healthcare: while I am just starting my research, I found a wealth of information on their own website. I have much more work to do!

Primarily I have found information on the United Health website. Specifically their financial and earnings report.
I also like reading articles just to get a gist of their public perception
