Our state-of-the-art research facilities include dedicated research space at the Arthur J. Nelson Jr. Human Performance Laboratory. The lab includes recently upgraded space and equipment. All facilities are accessible. A lounge space and a clinical assessment area are available. Exercise intervention space includes space and equipment for aerobic and resistance exercise.
The lab also houses equipment related to in vivo human movement analysis, including assessments of 3D kinematics, kinetics, barefoot and in-shoe pressure, EMG, physical activity and muscle strength. Recently upgraded equipment includes:

- Two force plates (Kistler Inc., Amherst, NY)
- Barefoot and in-shoe pressure measuring devices (Novel Inc., St Paul, MN)
- Wearable activity and sleep trackers (Actigraph Inc., Pensacola, FL)
- Isokinetic dynamometer (Biodex Inc., Shirley, NY)
