2022-2023 Year in Review

This has been a historic year at NYU Silver! Dean Michael A. Lindsey began his tenure in July. As the year drew to a close, one of our own faculty members, Linda G. Mills, was announced as the President-designate of NYU.

Meanwhile, Silver took the lead in emerging areas of social work research and practice; a recentering of social justice in what we teach and do; greater local, state and national exposure for our thought leaders; and concrete steps to make our social work education more accessible to a diverse pipeline of students.
