Researchers are responsible for recruiting their own subjects and must ensure that their recruitment process sticks to their approved protocol. At SHBEEL, we use SONA, an online system for recruiting and managing participation in studies. It is available to IRB approved protocols that specify the lab’s participation database as the source from which researchers should recruit their research subjects (IRB Approval Letter Required).
An IRB granted researcher may request a user account status as researcher by completing the application form (IRB Approval Letter Required), or reach the lab manager at shbeel@nyu.edu to request a researcher account. Once you’ve requested an account, you’ll receive an automated email with login details.
