Proposal: This multi-interactive project aspires to combine & redefine the elements of art (music, visual arts), NIME (New Interfaces for Musical Expression), hands-on games (to play, for fun), a daily household object, etc. Inspired by a modern Disco ball that spins and generates shining lights, this creation aims to be programmable to users through the use of an interactive button-pad. This button-pad, when triggered via reasonable pressure from any limb, allows audiences of all ages/groups to use their own distinct creativity and imagination to create extravagant music patterns/rhythms.

Background information: Brainstorming this idea, me and my wonderful partner (Calvin) collectively wanted something interactive & visually appealing. I suddenly remembered that I went to a skating rink with a disco layout around a few weeks ago. I casually brought it up and proposed the idea. Similarly, he wanted to make a light source identical to a lively club atmosphere. Below is one of the references we are hoping to recreate! Essentially, we hope by pressing a button, the coordinating LEDS/sound will activate creating music.
Materials: In this project, we need to use the H-Bridge, stepper motor, jumper wires, shaft adaptor, Arduino code, breadboard, cardboard, buttons, LED lights, etc.
