The object of our service is campus stores, and the main problem to be solved is to design a product or help them increase their profits. Since it is currently on holiday, we cannot communicate more until the manager returns next week.
Regarding the exhibition, our initial idea is to collect different types of waste products and process them for decoration without too much damage. Then put a QR code next to it, and when people scan it, they can see all its information, whether it is price or recycling channels, we may add some pictures/links/videos to help people better understand and interact. While conveying information and value, it will not cause too much damage. The only problem in this process may be that there is not enough time. The basic step is to collect different types of plastic waste for some secondary creations and then prepare different QR code links to decorate the side. The rest is work on the web.

Plastic pollution is polluting the ocean, polluting our food and water, and seriously damaging the earth’s ecological environment, including human beings and other animals and plants. Since the birth of plastics in 1950, we have produced 8.3 billion tons of plastics. The total amount of plastic produced in a year is roughly the weight of all humans. In fact, every piece of plastic that people make still exists in some shape or form. 91% of plastic waste is not recycled. Moreover, since most plastics do not degrade naturally in any sense, all plastic waste can exist for hundreds or even thousands of years. In the United States alone, we use more than 500 million plastic straws a day. They can go around the Earth twice together. Every minute, nearly two million disposable plastic bags are distributed around the world. Each year, the United States uses 100 billion plastic bags that can be tied together and make 773 circles around the earth’s equator. The world consumes 1 million plastic bottles per minute, more than 3 trillion by 2021. Every year, 8 million tons of plastic enter our oceans. That’s enough to cover every inch of the world’s coastline, and it’s increasing year by year. There are more microplastics in the ocean than there are stars in the Milky Way. If we don’t restrict the production and consumption of plastic, by 2050, plastic waste will be heavier than all fish combined. So in our daily life, we should pick up the garbage and deal with it properly. Cigarette butts and small garbage on the ground will follow the rain into the sewer, and then into the sea. To reduce the use, reuse, recycling, reuse, reduce the use of disposable plastic products; reuse existing plastic products; actively participate in waste classification and recycling, so that plastics play a greater value. We should avoid buying packed goods. We can carry reusable shopping bags with us and communicate with the people around us. There are a lot of people who don’t know this information. Most people regard abandoned branches and leaves, leftovers, and rotten organisms as garbage, while organic fertilizer plants use it as raw materials (raw materials are not garbage). Garbage is a valuable commodity. The main sources of these pollutants in China’s atmosphere are closely related to our daily life. Such as industrial production, oil and mineral resources development, coal-fired power generation and heating, automobile exhaust emissions, waste incineration, etc. Our earth is surrounded by water. It seems that water resources are very rich, but only a small part of water resources can be really utilized. Seawater can’t work directly for us. What we need is freshwater. Why don’t we treat seawater as freshwater? The reason is that according to the current technology and technology, only small-scale seawater improvement projects can be realized, and the investment is very large, which is not directly proportional to the benefit. So we still have to rely on a small amount of freshwater. China is one of the countries which are short of freshwater resources. Because of the large population base, the underutilized water resources are more precious. At present, China’s water resources pollution is still relatively serious, mainly the following several. Industrial pollution, in order to save the cost of treatment, some unscrupulous enterprises directly discharge the untreated industrial wastewater into the water body, causing water pollution. Agricultural pollution is serious, a large number of pesticides are used in agricultural production, such as organophosphorus pesticides, organochlorine pesticides, and so on. Especially in rural areas, farmers throw used pesticides directly into rivers and ditches, causing water pollution. Second, pesticide residues on crops infiltrate into groundwater under the effect of precipitation. Domestic water pollution, our daily life is inseparable from water, in the use of these water resources will produce a large number of domestic sewage, also known as reclaimed water, such as washing water, medical wastewater, etc. The main causes of soil pollution are as follows. Due to human production activities, such as deforestation and uncontrolled mining, vegetation is destroyed and soil erosion is serious. Most of the components of pesticides are persistent organic pollutants. Once it enters the soil, it is difficult to degrade naturally. It will only accumulate more and more and aggravate the degree of soil pollution. Heavy metal pollution is mainly caused by heavy metal wastewater discharged from mining and production enterprises. In fact, our environment is very fragile. Our production activities directly affect the environment in which we live.
