Preparatory Research and Analysis

The Chronus Art exposition is different from any other normal art exposition. Why you ask? Because the the Chronus Art exposition not only had art that could send a message, but the same art was able to interact with the watcher. This experience furthered the level of connection that the piece had on the minds of the people. 

The projects I used for inspiration for my final project are expositions situated in Tokyo and also shanghai,  TeamLab lab has developed an exposition that interacts with the user through touch sensors. The lamps are placed all around the room and once you touch one all of them light up.

The second source of inspiration comes from the Art and Tech exhibition at Chico State the place processes many different expositions that, using interactive machines, involve the person in a different experience that involves all the senses.

The importance of the concept of interactivity, is of great value. The concept involves the sending receiving and responding of messages between two or more objects. In the beginning the concept of interactivity was not clear to me, but as time passed the class helped me understand what interactivity meant. The importance of the messaging back and forth, the response to the message, and the receiving of it. Also an interactive project is supposed to help a person fell more involved with the project not only as an spectator.
